In year 1 we have been exploring the world around us. We went to the Gordon Brown Outdoor Centre and learnt about woodland habitats and the creatures that live there.
We were super at finding our way into and out of the maze where we heard a story from Brown Bear.
We learnt about the four things needed for survival. These were Plants, Air, Water and Shelter, also known as PAWS. Using what we had learnt we built dens for our teddies using natural resources.
We used our sense of sight, smell, touch and hearing on a sensory walk around the woodland area.
We had great fun eating our lunch on our teddy bears picnic.
