On Thursday 27th February, Year 2 visited Windsor Castle as part of our topic on knights and castles - it was amazing!It was a beautiful sunny day and we were able to take our time looking around the outside of the castle before going in to see the Doll's House and State Apartments.
We were very lucky because the Guard was being changed and we saw the soldiers marching through the castle grounds.As we walked around the castle we were able to point out the features of the castle that we had learnt about, for example, arrow loops, gargoyles and the crenellations.
We had a fantastic time at Windsor Castle.
