Early Years were invited to a Fairytale ball by the King and Queen earlier this week as an end to our Once Upon a Time topic. We all came to school dressed as fairytale characters. We had princes and princesses, pirates and even a pig! We started the day with fun and fabulous fairytale activities. We made yummy cakes, sparkly crowns and searched for the 
crown jewels. After lunch we then showed off our super outfits with a parade before settling down at our tables for our banquet. It was a gorgeous day with the sun shining, so we took the ball outside. We sat at long tables to eat scrumptious fruit jelly and ice cream (remembering our table manners!) and listened to some orchestral music. After, we had the opportunity to share our talents and perform a song or dance on our stage! We have some great singers in Early Years! To finish off the afternoon, we all joined together for a dance and learned how to dance with a partner to the Waltz.
