Year 5 WOW Wall - June

Hello everyone,

We hope you had a lovely break and are feeling refreshed. The weather has been beautiful so hopefully you’ve been outside playing games, reading or just soaking up the sunshine!

Some of you have begun to send in your work again after the break – thank you. We really like seeing your work and have been very impressed with your effort and creativity.  Here are some pieces we have received.

Many of you will know that the school has set staff and children a challenge to recreate well-known works of art or photographs during lockdown. We wanted to show you two fabulous recreations of very famous album covers received from Chloe. Do you recognise the albums?

In school, our keyworker children have been having fun in the (slightly cooler) sunshine.

Finally, I just wanted to draw your attention to this, which Miss Parker posted on the year 6 blog on Monday. This looks like a great activity, not only to send in, but to help you to document your own experiences through the lockdown and which can be looked at and reflected on at some time in the future

We hope you have a good week. Don’t forget to send through examples of your work and photos of the fun things you are doing. We will be in touch soon.

Take care,

Mr Davies, Mrs Paish and Mrs McWilliam
