Weald and Downland Open Air Museum

Year 1 enjoyed a trip to the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum.

We took part in a workshop where we learnt about the materials used to make houses from the past and present.
We looked inside an olden days school. We were amazed to find how different it was from our own school!

We explored inside Whittaker's cottages.

After an exciting and exhausting day it was finally time to wave goodbye and go back to school!

We're Going to the Zoo

Year 2 visited Marwell Zoo on the 25th September, as part of our Safari topic.

Here we are at the Education Centre learning about fur, feather and scales.

We learnt a lot from the talk. Don't worry the crocodile isn't real!

Awww, we even saw a little pussy cat having a snooze!

We're zebra spotting.
