Hello Everyone!
We hope you had a lovely Easter break and you are enjoying your new home learning tasks.
Miss Croud and Mrs Slater have been teaching Year 2 this week and we have all been enjoying the sunshine together. We have had a busy week so far! We started our new topic ‘On Safari’ and have read ‘Meerkat Mail’ by Emily Gravett. We loved the story and it inspired us to research meerkats and create our very own fact file. We really wish we could have our own real class meerkats! In maths we have learned about rotational language and used this to direct a teddy bear around the maps we created.
We have practised our catching and throwing in PE and Miss Croud joined in with us too! We all had lots of fun.
